Horse Tales Rescue is pleased to announce we have selected Autism Speaks as our latest beneficiary of the Horse of Course Fundraiser, scheduled for April 28, 2018.
Autism Speaks is dedicated to promoting solutions, across the spectrum and throughout the life span, for the needs of individuals with autism and their families. They accomplish this through advocacy and support; increasing understanding and acceptance of autism spectrum disorder; and advancing research into causes and better interventions for autism spectrum disorder and related conditions.
“A Horse of Course” will be a fun and inspirational event, designed to benefit equine rescue and autism awareness, in celebration of National Autism Awareness Month, and National Help a Horse Day. The event, held at the beautiful Horse Tales Rescue Ranch in Shingle Springs, CA, will include our special guest, Dr. Temple Grandin, a delicious western themed meal from Cow Camp Grill and country music by Chad Bushnell.
Bev Barad, founder of Horse Tales Rescue says, “We are so pleased to be able to share in the success of our fundraising event with Autism Speaks. Our event is an opportunity for education for our community as well as support for families, friends and other caregivers of autistic children. We are also so honored to have Dr. Temple Grandin, Ph.D, noted autism spokesperson, presenting at the event.”
Autism Speaks joins Horse Tales Rescue and the H.E.A.R.T. program of Horses Healing Heroes as the beneficiary of funds raised at our event. To purchase tickets, please visit https://horsetalesrescue.org/tickets.
